Translations

  1. to break, shatter, smash (separate into pieces, to fracture or crack)
    • Synonyms: hajota, mennä rikki, rikkoutua
    • särkyä sirpaleiksi ― to shatter into shards
    • Jos maljakko putoaa lattialle, se voi särkyä.
      If the vase falls to the floor, it might break.
  2. (of a voice) to crack, break (change rapidly in register)
