Merkitä (Verb type5)


  1. (transitive) to mark, check off, tick off, tag, stamp, brand
    Merkitse maksamasi laskut rastilla.
    Mark the bills you paid with an X.
  2. (transitive) to write down, mark down, note down, make a note
    Merkitsin muistiinpanot vihkooni.
    I wrote the notes down on my notebook.
  3. (accounting, transitive) to enter, book, record
  4. (transitive) to subscribe (promise to give, by writing one's name with the amount)
