Numbers in spoken Finnish

In spoken Finnish the final vowel is often dropped in numbers 1-6 and 11-19 and multiples of ten condense from kymmentä to kyt.

• 1-6
  • Standard: Yksi, kaksi, kolme, nelja, viisi, kuusi
  • Spoken: Yks, kaks, kol, nel, viis, kuus
  • Condensed spoken: Yy, kaa, koo, nee, vii
• 20, 30, 40:
  • Standard: Kaksikymmentä, kolmekymmentä, neljäkymmentä
  • Spoken: Kakskyt, kolkyt, nelkyt
